Yoga - Drop In and Restore

Yoga does more than burn calories and tone muscles. It’s a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation. You will increase body awareness, learn to move better and properly align yourself as you strengthen and lengthen your body at the same time. Besides the great physical benefits, there’s also a huge mental component that promotes emotional steadiness, increased focus, and stress release.

 

Yoga challenges you to disregard external stimulus in order to stay focused at the task of each pose, which is also why it serves as a beautiful daily practice to ground yourself and recharge.

Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)

Improve your body control and mobility with FRC. The goal of FRC is to train passive ranges of motion and make them active and therefore usable. This in turn enhances the load bearing capacity of a joint and its ability to withstand the forces of everyday activity and sport which then can up-level your range of motion and ultimately your lifts.

 

FRC was created by Dr. Andreo Spina and is quickly growing in popularity due to its effectiveness in training mobility of the human body using scientific methods to the acquisition and maintenance of functional mobility, articular resilience, and articular health and longevity.

Using a vast array of signature exercises and techniques which can change from class to class, the class will be brought to life by very energetic, vivacious instructors who want to create the ultimate party atmosphere.

Don’t be nervous for your first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class. The class participants might seem tight knit, but BJJ practitioners are a friendly bunch. You will soon be one of them. Arrive a few minutes early and introduce yourself to the Coach. The Coach will ensure you are properly introduced and integrated. You will be paired with an appropriate person for partner drills. Ask the club about our Level 0 introductory class where everyone is new, or start with Level 1, where participants will have a range of experience, from beginner and up.
